GAN TEE SHENG

Gan Tee Sheng (b. 1984, Kluang, Malaysia) is a contemporary artist renowned for his exploration of human emotions and subconscious desires. A Fine Art graduate from Dasein Academy of Art, Tee Sheng’s works feature human figures integrated with interior spaces and symbolic objects, offering a raw, visceral perspective on the complexities of human relationships and desires.

His evolution from surreal body parts to realistic portrayals reflects a consistent theme of probing illusions and intuition. Tee Sheng’s acclaimed solo exhibitions, Delusions and Withdrawn, and his participation in international art fairs like Art Formosa and Singapore Art Week, have established him globally.

Honored with awards such as UOB Painting of the Year, and residencies at Fukuoka Asian Art Museum, Tee Sheng captivates audiences with introspective works that challenge viewers to confront their inner struggles.
