ACCESS KL Art Fair is a curated contemporary art platform conceived and organized by G13 Gallery. Presented in a hotel-based format, we reimagine how art is experienced and collected, moving beyond the conventional booth system toward carefully curated room exhibitions.
Featuring artists from Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and Taiwan, the fair presents focused showcases that reflect strong curatorial direction and regional dialogue. Designed to foster meaningful engagement among artists, collectors, and audiences, ACCESS prioritizes depth, clarity, and thoughtful exchange, while connecting exhibitions, residencies, and community initiatives under a shared commitment to regional artistic development and cross-cultural exchange.

Artist Statement
For many Indonesian women, working abroad as domestic helpers has long been a path toward a better life, often driven by necessity rather than choice. It takes courage to leave home and endure long hours, homesickness and uncertainty, all for the sake of their families. Many children grow up feeling that absence before they can fully understand it, yet the mothers’ strength remains deeply present, much like Gohan, whose journey reflects the quiet influence and sacrifices of his mother. Their determination reshapes how love is understood, not just as presence, but as resilience, endurance and devotion across distance.
