G13 Gallery 5th Anniversary Show

FOREWORD

I have always believe in art and its magic to move people through its physical form and the idea an artist want to bring forth and it has always been my passion to be able to share those talents that Malaysian fine artist has to offer.

It was only back then in the late 2010 that I diminished my doubt and mustered all my courage into the making of G13 gallery.  Rome was not built in a day and same goes with G13 gallery. We started from a humble beginning just like anyone. We scoured throughout the art circle for talents that can be built around and grow together with. Thankfully, we have come across and made many friends from the art fraternity that is warm and generous enough to offer much needed assistance during our building process. Personally, I would like express my gratitude for the support and love shown to G13 gallery be it artists, collectors, academician and audience.

In the span of five years, G13 gallery has grown into one of the most respectable gallery among its peer. G13 gallery has organized multiple types of art related events ranging from art talks, forums, workshops, artist residency program, and art exhibitions. Apart from that, G13 gallery is involved in showcasing local talents to the international art expos and fairs. Collectively, G13 gallery has organized 42 exhibitions which include 32 exhibitions held at the premise and 10 exhibitions abroad.

The journey that we have gone through is a blissful one so far. Up until this day, we strive to keep serving the demands of the art market to the best of our ability. We have achieved so much in the past and I guess it is time move on and focus on the future. But before that, to end 2015 on a good note, I present to you G13; The Anniversary Group Exhibition.
