Syed Fakaruddin’s latest series features wireframe paintings inspired by virtual explorations on Google Maps during a period of isolation.
His technique combines gradient washes, acrylic lines, and vibrant neon layers, influenced by synthwave music. The artworks reinterpret landscapes, transforming everyday objects into vibrant forms.

“Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil” is a proverb symbolizing the avoidance of dwelling on evil thoughts.In today’s digital age, it is vital to choose carefully what we see and hear, especially online. A young woman as the central figure embodies the pivotal role of the youth in crafting tomorrow’s world. The use of a soft and dreamy color scheme creates an ethereal atmosphere, symbolizing a longing for a pure and harmonious world.

Artist Statement
The genie serves as a metaphorical representation of a figure that fulfills wishes and provides what is desired by its master. In this work, the artist employs the genie character as an allegory for a father who endeavors to provide the best for his child. This task, however, is fraught with difficulties and necessitates numerous sacrifices, particularly in a world that presents significant challenges. The bond between father and son is unequivocal, with the child invariably perceiving the father as an idol and superhero.

The focus is on consistent effort and persistence, emphasizing the importance of gradual, continuous progress in the pursuit of artistic success.
