4 Contemporaries brings together four emerging Malaysian artists, Aimman Hafizal, Amirul Aiman, Haziq Syawal and Nik Mohd Shahfiz, each presenting a distinct perspective on the world around them through their individual artistic practices. From Aimman Hafizal’s imaginative fusion of marine life and cosmic landscapes, to Amirul Aiman’s expressive exploration of artistic struggle through the metaphor of boxing, to Haziq Syawal’s reflections on the rhythms and interconnectedness of nature, and Nik Mohd Shahfiz’s contemplation of coexistence and the shared experiences that shape collective life, the exhibition highlights the diversity of thought and visual expression within contemporary Malaysian art.

Together, 4 Contemporaries offers a glimpse into the creative concerns, personal narratives and evolving artistic languages of a new generation of artists, each contributing their own voice to the contemporary art landscape.

4 Contemporaries runs from 11 to 25 July at G13 Gallery.
