Faris Ridzwan

FARIS RIDZWAN

Born 24 October 1993 in Malaysia.

Faris Ridzwan grew up embracing the richness of the capital city of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, known for its culturally diverse locals and captivating natural attractions. From a young age he has always been driven by the art that surrounded him in various forms. He pursued his studies and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from the MARA University of Technology Malaysia, focusing on refining his skills in painting and drawing. He has been involved in the art scene for 6 years, where he spent 3 years working as an Assistant Artist for one of Malaysia’s established artists. As an artist himself, Mr. Ridzwan finds joy in producing art for himself, as well as for the public through exhibitions.

ARTIST STATEMENT

My artwork inspired by diagrammatic elements and unconscious pattern. This idea is metaphorically portraying to my imagination-seeing through the other worlds-landscape. It’s like looking at something under a microscope. The closer you look, the more you see, and the more you see, the more fascinating the explorations have the potential to be.
