G13 gallery is pleased to announce our second participation in the upcoming international art fair, Art Taipei 2015. Taking place in the capital of Taiwan, the art fair will be held from 30th October – 2nd November at Taipei World Trade Center. We will be showcasing recent artworks by Chong Siew Ying, Calvin Chua, Chan Kok Hooi, Fadilah Karim, Kow Leong Kiang, Khairudin Zainudin, Nik Mohd Hazri and S. Dwi Stya (Acong). 'Words From Body' by Khairudin Zainudin reflects the deep connection between the human form and expression. Through strong, intentional hand movements and skilled drawing, Khairudin transforms gesture into a visual language that conveys emotion, presence and quiet strength.
The artwork suggests that the body holds unspoken stories. Each mark becomes a trace of movement. In this contemporary approach, The body in this work reflects both the individual and the collective, echoing how leaders, citizens and nations express power and vulnerability. Physical movement becomes a form of communication, suggesting that persuasion often happens beyond words.
