G13 Gallery is pleased to return to Art Moments Jakarta 2026, a boutique Southeast Asian art fair spotlighting contemporary voices from across the region. The fair continues to serve as a dynamic platform for cultural exchange and artistic discovery, bringing together galleries, collectors and artists in a vibrant setting.
This year, we present a compelling selection of works by Aimman Hafizal, Apandi Yusuf, Gabriel Cheah, Gabriel Eva, Gan Tee Sheng, James Seet, Najib Bamadhaj, Palito Perak and Prem Buachum, reflecting a diverse range of practices and perspectives across Malaysia and the region.

Artist Statement
In the stillness of the night, when the sun has come to rest, a journey emerges, tracing a path without a certain destination. Along this passage appear the faces of lives that never cease moving, bodies that labor tirelessly like candles that continue to burn, and the sound of determined footsteps that seem to urge time itself to keep turning. All of these leave behind a simple yet meaningful mark: sweat.
This work offers a space for reflection on the collective pulse of human perseverance. From a distance beyond words, sweat seems to convey the same message to every individual: that life continues to move forward… .

Artist Statement
This work emerges from an experience of solitude that is never entirely silent, but gradually permeated by layers of mental disturbances. It reflects on the subtle pressures that persist beneath the surface, where apparent calm becomes a fragile act of endurance. Through a process of self-reflection, the work seeks to navigate and understand the shifting conditions of the inner self.
Within this condition, life is understood not as a fixed state of equilibrium but as an ongoing negotiation with fragility, Through a process of introspection, his work traces these invisible dynamics, revealing how the self is continually shaped by shifting emotional and psychological currents.
