Frame-in-Frame

G13 Gallery is pleased to present Frame-in-Frame, a solo exhibition by our local artist, Haziq Syawal. In this new series of works, Syawal experimented with the colour scheme. He is grounded by the foundation of complementary colour theory, and these collective experiences were painted in a frame-in-frame setting. In this solo exhibition, Syawal focused on the concept of duality and the meaning of the subjects. He used the subjects to symbolise the idea that he wanted to present. Syawal also chose to split his ideas into diptych concepts to emphasise the idea of duality further.

Frame-in-Frame runs from 25 February to 11 March 2023 at G13 Gallery.
