“Whispers Behind the Mask” combines sculpture and painting to explore Japanese identity, folklore, and hidden narratives. Each piece portrays a figure with masks such as the kitsune, cat, and tengu, showcasing the mythological richness of Japanese culture and reflecting the duality between what is seen and unseen. Through vibrant colors and stylized imagery, I merge tradition with contemporary expression, inviting viewers to consider how myth, culture, and imagination shape personal identity.
