Viewing Room : Overshadow
OVERSHADOW highlights three local Malaysian artists, Cheong Tuck Wai, Hisyamuddin Abdullah, and Nik M Shazmie & one Thailand artist namely Aphisit Sidsunthia. Their recent artworks accentuate on societal commentaries addressing nowadays society. The 21st century is inevitably becoming the age of advancement be it from the infrastructure aspect to its moral code and even humanity. As we are moving towards the fast-paced generation; where every structure needs to be built, and globalization is at its peak, we are losing our core human nature. This advancement has overshadowed our existence and we have arrived in the complexity of achieving moral values where preserving, protecting our Mother Nature and identity become trickier.
