Heart and Mind, Realigned

G13 Gallery is proud to present ‘Heart and Mind, Realigned’, a solo exhibition by a local artist, Yuki Tham. This solo exhibition by Yuki delves into the rudiments of what makes us human – the heart and the mind; the emotional and the rational. This exhibition displays a series of artworks from her that emblem these two aspects in relation to her surroundings, where she interrogates certain sets of presuppositions that are thought customary in nowadays society.

Interested in psychology, retrospectively speaking, Yuki’s works could be said to have explored her own psyche. Through time, the artist indirectly unfurls what is happening inside her mind, through symbols and metaphors. Most of her works are illustrations of self-monologue, the narrations of her very own phases of life.

‘Heart and Mind, Realigned’ will runs from 29 August until 12 September 2020 at G13 Gallery. The gallery opens daily from 11 am to 5 pm, closed on Sundays and Public Holidays.
