From Guns to Roses: Emotive Subjects in the Contemporary World will exhibit a total of 15 paintings. The selection hopes to present a gentle and mellow approach that is worthy of a place in the local art scene today.
Today, in the contemporary art scene of Malaysia, a large number of young female artists are coming to light through their great endeavours. While some make statements about the surrounding circumstances and relate to the social context they live in, many others express personal feelings and an affection for being both artists and women. In this group exhibition presented by G13 Gallery, artists Amy Nazira, Chong Kiet Cheng and Yuki Tham have been attentively selected to showcase their representative voices.
