G13 gallery is proud to present ‘Aletheia, a Solo Exhibition by Shafiq Nordin’ for the month of November. The solo exhibition marks Shafiq Nordin’s second solo exhibition and his first one with G13 gallery. G13 gallery will be exhibiting fifteen paintings from the artist.

Shafiq Nordin is known for his story-telling which drove inspiration from his surroundings. Among the usual topic the artist covers are the socio-economy of the people and political scenario of the nation. Very often, the artist cleverly masquerades critical messages through allegorical symbolism.

Shafiq’s portrayal of hybrid animals demonstrates clear satirical way conveying his thoughts and ideas in regard to local politics. Being one of the leading emerging artists in Malaysia, Shafiq has grown and shown maturity throughout his ‘pop surrealism’ art.

`Aletheia, a Solo Exhibition by Shafiq Nordin’ will be on display from 17 November – 1st December 2018 at G13 Gallery.  Gallery opens daily from 11am to 5pm, closed on Sundays and Public Holidays.
